30th April 2003

Mike had warned me that a small TS was passing over Swindon. Winds were blowing strong North East Northerly and this indicated that something could be moving this way. Dark clouds all around, terrential bursts of rain.
14:10
One bright flash and a heavy rumble of thunder, estimated at 4 or 5km from my position. Another rumble was heard a few minutes later but no lightning scene.
14:30
TS had most certainly dissapated by now. Rain continued but brighter skies were rolling in. Nothing more to report.
