Feedback
Eric Feurstine loves your support, so give it!
Ok, I want to talk to you all about something. It isn't a big thing, but it's important and we are all guilty of this crime. There are two really important things that are needed to keep this community alive. One of them being people to produce games. I mean, of course we need them or you just get a bunch of Mr Colossal's sitting around saying they will make a game and never doing it... Wait a minute, that hurt...
Secondly, I feel the second most important thing is feedback. People make these games for nothing, absolutley nothing. The fans have to pay nothing to get these games the LEAST that they should do is send a quick email to the creator. You don't even have to be long winded. Just say, "Hello, I played your game, I really enjoyed it. Thank you for making it."
Better yet, why not tell the person what you liked and what you didn't like. It's ok to offer constructive criticism to a person, I'm sure they would love it. Let them know what they did right so they will know to do it again. Then, tell them what you think wasn't as good. Try and give them some advice on how they could make the bad parts good.
All I'm saying is, for people to make these games for free and to put them out there on the internet just for you to play. Isn't it only nice to try and give them some support because without that little bit of incentive or that little bit of criticism, there will be no improvement in games, or worse yet... No new games.
So please, take 1.5 minutes out of your life and email the game maker/makers or post on the forum just to show them some support.
Thank you,
Eric Feurstine
