ECTS*03: Broken Sword - The Sleeping Dragon
Mark Lovegrove caught up with Charles Cecil at this years expo

It was rather a poor turn-out this year as far as commercial adventure games go at the European Computer Trade Show. This year, they had expanded the "PlayStation Experience" which ate up half of the exhibitor floor space, which was a great shame - there were far too few companies represented.

Of course, thousands of people flocked to see Half Life II, EyeToy and more - but I was only there for the adventures, of which there really was only one. Broken Sword - The Sleeping Dragon is one of the most highly anticipated adventures games coming this year, especially for its break out from the point and click interface.

At the THQ booth though, I managed to catch up with a very busy Charles Cecil, the head of Revolution Software.

In fact, I met up with him twice. Firstly at mid-day, (thanks to the trains, I got into the exhibition at 11:55am!) in which Charles showed me BS-TSD as it currently stands.
